This book began with the discovery of a dairy, written by a young sixth ward Merrill woman, Miss Fern Bisbee. The diary spans three years from 1911-1913. Bea Lebal has documented the early days of Merrill in the 1880s as background for this story. She tells of the Bisbee and Harvey families who lived and worked in Merrill's sixth ward. It's 180 pages of photographs and stories about Merrill and some of it's families.
